New shoes & yellow leaves

9.24.2012

The goal was to have the studio finished and the house in tip-top shape by October 1st. Life was going along swimmingly until we realized that it was already the middle of September. This realization gave us a big kick-in-the-pants and we begrudgingly gave up our four day weekend to work around the house. We did take one very small-itty-bitty-break to test out my new rock shoes and enjoy the changing season. Fall is in the air, my friends!

AND.....another video:

We are currently a bit obsessed with trying to figure out this whole video thing. So much to learn....but also so much fun!

Donner Lake

8.13.2012

It's toasty warm here in the desert and the cool mountain air has never felt so good. When Danny & Lauren offered to share their cabin we certainly didn't turn them down. I've been looking forward to our weekend at the lake all summer and it was even better then expected. I'm not sure if Danny & Lauren were in on this, but we all decided to call it the first annual Donner Lake weekend.

Pie shopping

10.10.2011

On the first weekend of October, Chelsea and I always* go bouldering. This year, we each got to bring a friend. I brought Josiah Hassler, and Chelsea brought Jocelyn Little . Chelsea got her picture included just because she's cool like that.

Washoe boulders

11.14.2010

It pays to know some locals. It would of taken us years to find these boulders if we were on our own. Though it appears in the following three photographs that the women-folk just observed, that is not the case. Although sometimes I feel more like sleep on our bouldering mats then actually bouldering.
