It finally happened. We moved into the airstream. It still isn't finished, but it's been nice to have a little space to call our own. The HOA for our house here in Oregon happens to have a private campground, a benefit that we've never appreciated until now. We've got the place to ourselves, late afternoon shade, private restrooms and showers, and a a great horned owl that loves to sit in the nearby tree. I think that if we had moved into the airstream right after leaving 3000 square feet of space it would feel a little tight and cramped but at this point, after spending the last four months couch-surfing, the place feels pretty luxurious. Most importantly, it feels like us.
